Meh if he didn't like minecraft/ark/rust etc he's not going to like NMS. Will see, I might agree after playing it tomorrow! Need to go find Ender first (np).
So yeah NMS was obviously massively disappointing, refunded after 2 hours. Might get it on sale for $10 some time. Recently finished new Deus Ex. Was good but a lot of performance issues and crashes, not the greatest port. Game felt like it was missing the last 15%, probs so they can sell it as DLC later. Recommend giving it a playthrough though. Dishonored 2 in November is the next title I'm looking forward to, as long as is copies the basics of the first game it can't really go wrong, minus a better ending would be nice.
Turns out, Battlefield one and Civ 6 are out on the same day - @Pot Ducky had a great idea - play Civ 6 whilst BFONE is either collapsing from launch day pressure or from DDOS attacks!
Anyone got Dishonoured 2 yet? Hearing about performance issues which is disappointing, dunno what's going on with the ports lately, but Deux Ex was badly optimized too.
I actually just finished the campaign for Dishonored 2 today, i thought it was a pretty good continuation to the first one and the gameplay was just as good
Apparently a good game, just awful performance, review below seems to sum it up; A lot of people had issues, guess you got lucky. They did like 6 patches in 2 weeks after release to try and fix it, should be better now, but I experienced FPS drops, buggy menus and crashes often, which spoiled a game I was highly anticipating tbh.
Yeah it's another console to PC port unfortunately, hopefully get patched and I'll grab in Xmas sale I imagine.
Been playing Miscreated a bit lately, Dayz style sandbox survival, pretty alpha still but Cryengine. It's fun if it's your type of game, but still needs a lot of polish. My experience from last night below, not driven into a tornado yet, curious what'd happen, they're extremely loud and can form real close to you, and move rapidly, pretty unique hazard. Weird slow buggy thing #1.
I'm pretty excited for the Morrowind update on Elder Scrolls Online. I've never been too interested in ESO, but after hearing more and more about it, I'm considering picking it up. I'm big on Elder Scrolls so I want to give it a try.
Recently grabbed Witcher 3 at Xmas, once I have some more free time I'll probably waste plenty of time playing that. Beyond this, waiting for EU servers for Star Citizen so I can finally play with decent FPS.
I picked up The Witcher 3 on sale quite some time ago, but for some reason I never got into it. I try every once in a while but I just cannot get into it.
