This thread isn't for spoilers and won't contain any, post spoiler discussions in a separate, marked thread if needed (or wait a few weeks).

Looks to be awesome, I'd expect all of you to have heard of it by now (prequel to one of the best FPSRPGS of all time). Who's preordered and what versions did you get + why? Anyone play the leaked version? Personally I'm waiting till the final release is out. I'm guessing most of you will have seen the 2 main videos, but the short trailer is here. Anticipating a contender for Game of the Year.

(as you can guess from my Steam picture - which is JC Denton from DX1 - I like Deus ex!)

Plenty of gameplay videoes etc on Youtube.

It looks awesome and from what reviewers are saying, it'll be the best game of its genre if not this year. It looks like they've heavily improved since Invisible War which is a good thing. Not that Invisible War was bad but it had some terrible plotholes and issues regarding the story (lol aliens at end).

However I don't know what to do at the moment. I'm after a new graphics card however Saints Row 3 and DE3 are both coming out. My wallet feels abused :suicide:.

I held off on getting the leaked version like yourself. I haven't got my preorder out yet but I'm expecting to order it soon. I also have to get the money for Dead Island & Red Orchestra 2 though. Too many games.

My relative already preordered Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and is quite excited for it.

I like it, but I'll wait a while for it.

Yeah I really liked that, they've put a lot of money into promotions for this game, which is nice.

This game kinda reminds me of Alpha Protocol. Hopefully it won't be nearly as bad

I was playing that the other day - the conversation aspects are really nice, but combat and NPC AI, not so much :(

    Short but sweet.

PC Gamer gave this a 95. Now assuming their credibility hasn't slipped, they gave the original a 96. HL2 got a 97. This is going to be game of the year hopefully.

The American branch certianly has. I'm not sure on your opinions but the American PC Gamer gave Duke Nukem Forever 94 along with Dragon Age 2. The UK side of things are pretty uncorrupt. They gave Duke Nukem Forever 24% and despite being massive biodrones they managed to admit Bioware pissed off their old fans big time. After reading it I can see its from the reviewers experince and not fake stupid bullshit where the reviewer avoids accounting the game through his eyes and instead keeps going through the features, praising ussless bullshit which has been around forever. *cough Modern Warfare 2 cough*

You can easily detect a paid review from a players review. I personally think he avoided some things which sort of made me a sour lemon (no prodding with the prod anymore or setting children on fire) but overall its shaping up to be my GOTY 2011.

Well the US version has always been a bit shit. For the most part in the UK most review outlets are decent. Although I remember NOM (Nintendo Official Magazine) back in the early 2000's, where regardless of how bad the game was it always at least got 87%.

I always found it funny that they said that Mario Galaxy 2 and OOT:RE are the most orginal games on the market despite being the EXACT same as its orginal.
