I think I may do. In the UK you can get it for free if you take a contract with T-mobile out for 16 months, £40 a month (just slightly over $80 for you Us lot) I like it and I may get it if i can convince my parents to maybe pay for the contract as I'm not 18 :3 I also think it's better due to it being open source, so you can dev anything for it. The funnest part is that for £40, you get unlimited everything. So it's like, wow.
Anyway, its not "Google's phone". It is made by T-Mobile, its just that it runs on Googles Mobile OS.
its superior to the iPhone in every aspect, except two things: low inbuilt memory, and no pinch touch screen crap.
a proper keyboard? hate the iP00'ds touchscreen keyboard. Afaik, iPhone doesnt have a barcode scanner? xD
Comparing in-store prices with ones online, duh. Also, since those portable handheld barcode scanners that have the microcomputer in them for stock operations cost so much, you could use your phone instead Hmm, not out in Canada afaik.
It does, the only reason I didn't get one is because I know of only one person in my town that has it and he wishes he never got it, because he never gets a signal any were.
No, i stated in a post I said I would try and get my parents to pay for it. Donations are still going towards my welfare of surviving at college.
Barcodes consists of white and black bars, resembling numbers. The laser scanner at the register reads them and knows the price because it's in the computer. How the hell would a phone know that? Hack into the computer? All it would return is the value of the barcode in numbers.
