What platform to buy Fallout 3 for...

    Fallout 3, should I buy for the 360 or the pc?

    my gfx card is an NVidia 8600 GT

    Yep, if possible go go PC. You'll get more for the money.

    I aggree, you have much more ability to modify the game.

    With an 8600, go with the PC, the mods will open you up to so much more than the standalone game on the 360. Sure they're adding quests and raising level cap in some DLC, but that still won't trump mods.

    PC I rented it for the 360 :p I dont really plan on buying it now....

    Only thing I'm worried about is not having a good enough gfx card, the recommended wants 512mb, i only have 256mb :<

    I pass the minimums but fail the recommended on that requirements test site.

    Still seems like the game was more designed for PC

    if you want to play it safe, i'd choose the 360 (which i did)

    But i would love to have the PC version, just for mods and stuff ;)

    8500GT. Runs the game perfectly in High. Apart from smoke particles, slows down a bit then.

    Grr.

    Anyone wish to buy me an 8800 / 9800 for Xmas?

    I got it for the PC just for the mods, same as Oblivion, the mods will no doubt expand the game. You do get more for your money.
