Well its come to this time of year again when you think of everything that has gone past within the year , and you look forward to new changes within the new year coming up and make the dreaded new years resolutions . But its also the time to have fun and enjoy yourself as Christmas constantly creeps closer . But at some point you will sit back and think to yourself "What is Christmas All About?" Christmas was never about presents and massive trees and all the decorations. Christmas is about the life of jesus . A form of god being present on earth . Someone to teach us right from wrong , good from bad , and a person to teach us the moralistic way to live. Jesus was god's present to earth . Without Jesus we wouldn't have all the morals and ways of life that we do now . We wouldn't have most of the key beliefs that we share and the way that we think about god. We wouldn't have everything we have today and we wouldn't have events like Christmas and Easter.We wouldn't get all the presents and all the fun we have during the festive Period. If it wasn't for what our ancestors believed in , our ancestors, ancestors we wouldn't live in the world we live in now . We would live in a world with would be Dictatorship , not a Democracy . We would live in a world filled with hate , slavery , and all the things we would hate. We would live in a world of hell . If it wasn't for all the things god has brought us , all the emotions , all the morals , we wouldn't live by the standards we do today. If it wasn't for Jesus and his followers coming forward and telling us what we did wrong we wouldn't have corrected ourselves and lived in a world full of hate . You may also say "What about the people in the third world countries? What are they getting for Christmas?" . Those people aswell as us are getting the original gift of ours . The gift of Jesus. the remembrance in who he was and what good he brought to earth and everyone upon this planet. So remember to keep in mind what christmas is all about . George, there is a flaw in your logic, since if it wasn't for God/Jesus, you wouldn't even GET presents on Christmas! So if your an atheïst, you can't celebrate it! BWahahaha! Conclusion: Atheists are fucking greedy.
