My mother insist on reading every single essay that I write aloud before lecturing me on all of the mistakes that I make. I got fed up with it this time, and I told her that I had to take a shit. Instead, I went to the computer. So, here I am right now, asking you guys for help. What should I do? I have 5 more 12 font single spaced pages left to go. HALP :O
I went to 1.3 line spacing and typed at the speed of light. She's reading my essay back to me word for word right now. Man, this sucks.

You kids are lucky. My parents don't read or point anything out to me. You guys are getting help and are learning at the same time to write your own essays later on. I don't have a mother or father telling me what I need/should have done for my essay. I'm on my own and I better do a good job. Just stick it out, because once your mother and father stop teaching you, you'll miss it.

Double Spacing Works Well, also, Don't let your parents pound you into submission. tell them your doing your best and if they go "Thats Not good Enough" Then say "Fuck That, and Fuck You" I Get A's and B's when it comes to school. But i did get help from my parents with some things but not to much. Just the occasional Question or two. If they are breathing down your neck, tell them "I Can Handle it, Thanks for the help Though", then prove that you indeed Do Not Always need their Help.
My parents have never guided me in essay writing, I've always taken my own initave, read back to myself, and thought how could i make it better. It's a forumlae for success.
Strip an amazing essay off the internet and give it to her. Then just stick your essay in your backpack. Or just don't tell her you have an essay.
