I'm 3 months into my Law enforcement academy training.. Only 7 more to go... I just recently finished up legal and communications... I'm excelling in all subjects though, making a 95, and a 93 on both tests. The tests are 100 question. Ive wrote the hand book one time and read it twice... Ive done the weekly Physical training that is require to maintain acceptance in the academy. We start on human issue tomorrow its only a 40 hour segment. Then to the fun part, vehicle ops, then Defensive tactics.. They pepper spray us in the face on DT... Its gonna hurt... I have at this point made a decision to move from this academy to The Florida Highway Patrol aka State Troopers, after i finish the course im in. This course will require me to stay at the FHP academy for 6 months. Ill live there till i finish it. The only good thing about it is they will pay me $2,721.47 a month while attending the academy... When i grad from the academy i get a $300 raise and then will be given my equipment and shipped to a Agencies in Florida some where. Im looking forward to it... But that's only a year away...
Florida State Troopers are awesome. Saved my life before they have : They were jumping over the fences while the city police were TRYING to climb over them.
