You have two major parties, Liberal Dems, and The conservatives, over here, we have like 15 parties, but we have what's known as the "Big 3". Ie,

The Tories (conservatives)
New Labour
Liberal Democrats

However, the UK Independance party (UKID) have overtaken LD and Labour, so basically this country is now heavily right wing. We're going down the shitter. V for Vendetta anyone?
