Was there a point to removing grain? (Other than the fact that not that many people used it. I'm just asking if it lagged or anything.) I miss it, I miss making food with it; I had a restaurant and bread was the best and easiest thing I could make. You could have started a poll or something, seeing how many people used grain or wanted it removed. If putting grain back in is not possible at the moment, could an alternative way of getting dough be made?
This is what Teddi said about Grain: Code: Note, it's possible Grain may return in the future, but at the moment no one uses it and thus it's removed.
Yes, but the future could be a while, I'd just like another way to get dough if anything. Just for the time being if possible.
The point was, people would plant it and not know what to do with it. So they just kept it standing there and planted more seeds, thus causing lag over time.
Grain just isn't that useful, as it's only for cooking. Cooking has no real point to it. I think if there could possibly be a better point to cooking (Other then health regain) it would be a bit more useful to have grain around. Maybe some kind of other buffs? It'd be cool to see food that maybe stopped your thirst from going down for a while, or even food that restored fatigue and such. Food is rather boring right now, and planting tons of fruit is a lot more attractive. Making food seem more reasonable would also reduce the fruit, which in return reduces lag.

Problem not solved. As it looks herbs are removed form the game, or they became VERY rare. Haven't got a single one in the past two days, nor has anyone I talked too. You need herbs to make rope, and you need rope to make a rod to catch fish. So no cooking.
Solution: When planting grain/berries for the first time a popup would appear saying "Are you sure you want to plant [plant]? You cannot eat it." or, better yet, fix plant limits and implement that.
Okay, that's good to here. I totally forgot about shovels, but it's good that there IS a way to get fishing rods. Thanks much.6 EDIT: Yeah, I like the plant limits idea. That would help drastically, especially all those people who plant rows of fruits (Guilty >.>) Also, making grain plantable until a high Planting is reached would be nice too, as people would surely know what it's for by then.
