Yeah, Blurray = more expensive, overrated and no one can really tell the difference. Most still get DVDs anyways.

 

I can tell the difference, it's mostly in the sound quality honestly.

yeah it's mostly the same thing, blu-ray is just uncompressed (to a degree)

geez u said it teddy. those damn things might be cool and high quality, but theyre hella expensive.

Well it's just as Biff said, it's mainly to do with the sound quality, yet they all promote picture quality.

And it's what, like an extra 10-20$ for a bluray disc?

 

Honestly i dont blame bob b/c they will probably still make the DVD's and their players for even a while after blu ray steals the spotlight.

 

They actually just learned DvD's can store like 7x more on them using a certain method, so I doubt DvD's will be going away anytime soon.

i still have a crap load of VHS tapes. but for the blu-ray, i just use my ps3 and rent movies

 

Not every blu-ray DVD has better picture quality, a lot of older movies still look the same, however there are a few that look fantastic.

 

So basically its just random whether its better or the same?
