One of my mates is downloading it at the moment. It's quite a good idea really, but after this free weekend, no-one will buy it because you could complete it 10 times over before the 24th (

 

I've always loved portal, but the ironic thing is my dad literally just yelled at me for downloading 26 gigs in the past three days onto our "family" computer

 

Just a little side note: Valve delivers over 20 petabytes every month, or 20 X 10^15 bytes.

 

It's not a free weekend, it's completely free, as in, once you download it it's on your account forever as if you bought it. xD

I agree with Killermon, but the first Portal wasn't that long of a game and didn't really cost much either. It's probably an elaborate scheme to increase the hype for Portal 2.

 

Portal 2 had better kick ass

 

Seeing as the first game was more of an experimental game, and not a full fledged project, it should do great. Co-op, a full single player, and a much larger dev team than the original is making this look no where but up.

 

Well that sucks. I recently pirated my version maybe only a month ago, too.

 

Portal sucked big time. Glad it came with the Orange Box, otherwise I would of felt like I had been ripped off.

 

No, Portal was a good game. It was short and sweet, and didn't outlive its' stay.

 

Portal was a good, funny game. However, its humour was ruined by the internet with "TEH CAKE IS A LIE XD".

I'm not that hyped for Portal 2. Mainly because I think they are still trying to cover up that EP3 has been delayed for 10 fucking years.

 

Yes, I agree, other than the excessive memes, I liked it, mostly because I like puzzle mixed with action, although I played it on the xbox, some of those levels were pretty hard towards the end
