Finally after a about a weeks worth of work, I finally have my new computer built! Hopefully it will prove to be far far better then my old laptop. Specs: Motherboard: P7P55D EVO Sli ready PSU: Corsair TX750W Power Supply Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz Memory: 4096MB RAM @ DDR3 1600 Mhz Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 Hard Drive: 1Tb Samsung 7200 RPM Disk Drive: Samsung Blu-ray Drive + Lots of blue light! Anything improvements or any dumb decisions I've made?
It was my first comp build + I have a job and fuck tons of other curriculum activities to do outside of work :'( So I didn't get much of a chance to build it during the week. And by all week, I don't just mean putting it in a case, as in build it, install an OS, transfer my 90Gb files from my laptop + update all my drivers and install all my programs. Stuttering?? :S I've never had any problems mapping, I just ain't had the motivation lately ;-)
I didn't want to get SLI straight away as it's my first build, but aye, I will be getting in the future as I have the room for expansion.
Wtf you have a job now? Arent you supposed to be a 12 year old girl? Now I bet ill hear a story from you claiming your family hiring you. But now you wont say that because i mentioned it. Hmph.
This sums it up. I don't have infinite funds and have no need for SLI yet so I will upgrade in the future when I need the extra kick. Actually, it's three-way SLI ready, but then it would mean I have no room left for anything else.
