Agreed. Also, release date... I would hope they'd have much more revolutionary games by then.

 

Crysis 2 is coming out December 2010, it'll be better than this one.

In all seriousness all of 40k is gay apart from the Imperial Guard's. The only army that isnt dragged in skulls and massive shoulderpads (which is considered "cool" in 40k)

I'll play it with you! I love the 40k universe as well.

That's kind of the reason I want to play it, a game where you aren't controlling an army of Space Marines, but instead are in the middle of an Ork horde being a badass. I'm also one to love and only play IG in the games, and am awaiting the expansion to DoW II to add them, but I'll really enjoy this game anyways.

 

If I have a new GFX card by then I'll play it. I love Spess Mehreens.

It's GoW without cover and with more sponging and melee in its place.

Thing is, they actually coded in a proper cover system and then removed it saying that "it wasn't what these space marines would do" when in the Dawn of War games (to my knowledge) cover was a massive part of the game.

As far as 3rd person shooters go nowadays, this looks pretty alright.

 

It may have been a big aspect in the previous games, but these are some of the best of the best in the Ultramarines chapter (which the Ultramarines are some of the best to begin with). I can understand why they wouldn't be taking cover, specifically since they're protecting a forge planet from an invasion. They're just the most badass of the badasses.

It really is incredibly fun.

 

I'm sadly broke. I'll pick it up eventually, waiting for the COMPLETED version of Dead Island to be released at the moment.
