Don't you have like a 10gb download limit? Mines like 6.5 MB, terribad upload, but I think we're paying for 8MB so that's fine.
Nope. Their "fair usage" policy only really applies after I've downloaded something like 250GB in a day, which then it slows my speed for the next 48 hours, and that was on 10MB. I'm on 20 and I've had no slowdowns since.
Don't forget, it's 8 bits to the byte (Or octet if you want to be confusing.). So 128 Kilobytes (What your computer shows you download in) would be 1.024 Megabits (What speed test shows and Broadband is sold at). So downloading at 128KB is about right for you... You don't happen to turn your modem off at night or anything do you? Turning your modem off for large periods of time will cause your Broadband to slooooooooooow down.
Orange is terrible, if you download more than 5GB at peak times in a month they cap you at 500kb (more like 40kb) from 6pm-12am, making games unplayable and web pages take 30 seconds to load.
Put it on MegaBytes not Megabits fagget. Jeez. Hmm I think I'm supposed to be on a 10MB line.. idc, my dad sorts it out Lets see, while I was running this 1 brother was on his laptop wirelessly, and my other brother was on MW2 online. Not too shabby for what I use it for.
