DayZ: Arma II Mod

Not found NV anywhere yet, gonna try and solo my way up to an airfield/base.

 

Where would you find them usually? Missing NV and a GPS.

 

we were talking about getting the beta version patch of arma 2 from the website, so we could play the 3 servers that use it. those usually have 20 free spaces in each server, and directional chat works

 

Both have a 0.11% chance of being in military bases.

There's no legend so I have no idea what half the red symbols even mean. I'm presuming that red square is store, and the "p" is zombies.

 

Found a broken car and heli at Karastov airfield or whatever, the east one.

Also I was just about to pick up some medical supplies yesterday in Cherno afte dieing, and the server crashed

Edit; The legend is a link at the top of that map, and I prefer to use the in-game map or one that isn't so annoying.

 

Found a car driving along and then it stopped so i thought they saw us. So i shot them both in the face. Seemed they'd just run out of gas :L

 

I should probably get back into this at some point. It just feels like effort after the last death I had.

 

It's easy to get a ton of stuff if you sneak into a city

Also yeah whenever I die I just head to Chern and raid the shops till I have enough stuff and all the essentials like maps and the like. Carrying around like 8 blood bags and some shotgun atm.

I'm flagged as a bandit cause some Survivor tried to kill me, badly, so I shot him in the face and now I'm a Bandit and have been for a long time as my humanity slowly regains. Flawed system that they'll need to rework in time.

So I was playing with a friend who then got killed by falling off a ladder, I waited where he died for him to return. As I was waiting a bandit roamed in to check his body, popped him and got all the beans a man would like. Was fun.

 

Just bought OA and installed ARMA 2 (I had an unused copy laying around).

Just FYI, ARMA 2 and OA are both on sale, separately and together in a bundle.

 

Ain't played for a little while after I lagged and a zombie hit me once then I fell over instantly on 10k blood and the zombies killed me while I couldn't do anything. That and I've been flagged as a bandit for a week for killing someone in self defence.

Definitely some stuff that needs to be worked out, but it's Alpha so I can forgive it I guess.

 

Next update hes removing the bandit flagging and skin since it wasnt working out, he dosnt want you to be able to know someones a bandit just by looking at them, and i think a zombie can only knock you down if your at 6k blood or less now

 

I dunno, was deff higher than 6, maybe around 8k or so. I like the bandit concept it just needed reworking, oh well guess removing it works.

 

Been having a lot of fun with it still, Still is a lot of bugs though. Like for example my location will get reset to the coast sometimes when I relog, And my friend was randomly teleported out into the middle of the ocean, and he couldn't swim back to the main land so he had to kill himself with all the phat l00t.

 

Yeah everyone's spawns are resetting. Happened once due to the update and happened the other day cause they updated the database. Happened yesterday because they upgraded the server.

I'm still having a hell of a lot of fun with it. even though i died yesterday with all my stuff as an a*hole was camping people spawning on coasts as they all had loot. bad times.
