This fun little thing is coming out sometime in April I believe after there was much demand for it to be released after it premièred at the Toronto Film Festival. Plot It's basically a film where the main character goes after the spoiled and the stupidly rich bitches with the intent of trying to make society just that tad bit nicer with some nutty chick. Trailer: [youtubehd]-1-NRmuXTls[/youtubehd] Overall I can't wait to see this when it comes out (if it comes out in the UK). It looks like it has some good laughs and I think it also has a proper understanding of todays society and what makes them so annoying.
I hope that comes out in the US, looks pretty funny! Although I have to say the 16 year old kinda off-sets it. The Main character has enough experience and is dying of cancer. Yet the 16 year old will most likely pull a whinny teenage girl thing.
Sorry, God Bless America is a movie for Canadians. But uhh... This'll prob piss some rich people, rather, media itself off so maybe not.
I really don't get what this movie is about. It just looks like me going on a killing spree in GTA. I don't see any point behind it, or any argument related to it.
It's a satire on American culture, in the form of black comedy. It's basically saying this is what mainstream American culture looks like right now (and I think it's not far off).
It does raise a valid question though, why have a civilisation if we're not really longer interested in being civilised?
To me, I feel that it represents the anti-societal feelings and disenfranchisement with society that a lot of people feel today.
American society is fucking unbearable. It's stupid. People care more about the celebrities and dumb shit like Teen Mom and sweet 16 or whatever. I am completely fine with what this movie says. :c
Looks pretty good, I'll watch it when it comes out. Probably have to torrent it because I doubt it will be shown in the UK, or purchasable.
Just seen this. It's decent however the progression of the film is slow as anything. The trailer pretty much takes all the main scenes out of the movie and puts it together for you.
I've not seen the dictator, but probably. It's not something I would outright recommend to anyone though because there were many times I was just sitting there bored waiting for the next thing to happen. I understand what the director was trying to do with dragging certain scenes with Frank but it just doesnt work.
It's weird that you posted back here haha. I was remembering the trailer for this movies but couldn't remember where i'd seen it or what it was called. I'll probably give it a watch anyway
