New HUD Competition

    Ok, so I'm just looking at the general aesthetics of the gamemode at the moment, and I've decided that it might be nice to have a new health bar design. At the moment, our current one is this:

    Ie, thats the standard HL2 HUD.

    So, Why not get ourselves a shinier HUD? You can use anything you want, Photoshop, Paint, whatever. As long as I can have the original version in the end to code it doesnt matter. If you're chosen, you'll be given a prize. Don't worry, if you already have plat/whatever you'll still get something!

    Also, don't just go "here's an idea!" You're expected to at least make a good, thorough design which can be implemented in game, not just say "oh ive got this gr8 idea" or whatever.

    Note, you don't actually have to code it, if you want to sure, but we can handle that if you suggest a good design.

    well, theres this... which is only done in lua, and can easily me modified. I made it with help from a few tutorials. Kinda bland though, and not very creative.

    Zekes bar would be the most work for us because of the complexitiy of it, ie having to split it into 100 pieces and whatsnot.

    Topguns looks good because of the simplicity and general good design behind it.

    I'll elaborate though, you can create containers if you like, you dont need to fill in the bar itself. If you're looking for inspiration (note: Don't copy this, inspiration only- [​IMG] something like that can also do.

    I like Top Gun's one more, but so far we only have two.

    I say that we should let the plats change theirs as another reason to get plat.

    health bar but on the lft it has

    the heart silk icon and as health drops it become the yellow triangle ! then the red ! then the red X

    also players don't get to know their HP as they only know they are low or not low.

    then I demand platinum members replace the [P] with a badge icon

    also I did it for the lulz, just like USA blew up the moon
