    Science will never answer everything.

Well, people have believed the bible for thousands of years. And the bible has been right for thousands of years. Why shouldn't it now?

Science hasn't proved anything necessarily against the bible yet.

Meh, one video won't change my outlook on anything.

Also I see there are people talking about the bible and what not, there are so many versions of that thing that contradict each other it isn't even funny.

    Lemme clarify something.

    a. Believe what you want to believe. (Not trying to force opinions on anyone. This is a nice and healthy discussion! No more, no less, lol.)

    b. No matter what we use to describe our perception of reality (be it faith or science), nothing has all the answers.

I guess my main point here is that nothing can't create everything. There had to be something always existing to create the first creation. Many people would ask, "Well, who created the thing that always existed?" The thing that always existed (many people believe it's a god, as do I, for reasons) was never created, he was just the creator. If you don't believe this, what can you believe? Nothing x everything = nothing. You can't get everything out of nothing.

True, you have a good point there.. But God/Jesus did put a lot of truth inside the bible, too. Not EVERYTHING is true, but I believe the majority of it. I don't believe in Noah's Arc, because I don't think God was ever vengeful, but that's just me. Also, being eaten by a whale doesn't seem too realistic either.

Alright, I'm just going to state this here as I am Christian.

God won't act in our modern world, unless you say to God that you will let God lead your life. Show you where to go right. Of course, God cannot answer you at all times but God will be there to help you if you let him. If you verge off from him God will let you continue on, God will not force you to do anything. God will only act if you act first. God will not come to you and give you advice, you have to go to God.

Bible was man made. There was no entries from God. Also, compare the old testament and the new testament. That should help a bit.

Rght, and the question I ask is why He does not "answer at all times." Is He uncapable? Unwilling?

The famous statement by Epicurus sort of explains ..

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
    Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
    Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
    Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
    Then why call him God?"

There are supposedly quotes from Jesus, though. (Which is God) And there are parables he said, that are all in his words (supposedly, doesn't mean it's true though!)
So there may not be entries written by God himself, but if man did not lie in this case, then these parables were quotes from God. So would the 10 commandments.

    • Betrayed by his brother judas
    • sold for 30 gold
    • was like 27

    Jesus

    • 7 Disciples
    • Betrayed by his disciple judas
    • sold for 20 gold
    • was also 27
Old and new testament. Where's your god now?
