    A lot of people play this game now, but there isn't a thread for it. Post here if you play the game, what tanks you have, what tiers they are, and what times you play at.

    Wait, world of tanks uses gold?

    I've always looked at this from time to time (the other I think being WW2 online) but they're both fee based (or at least WoT was).
    Got any more information on the game?

    It is 100% free. Gold is to help you level faster or buy unique items such as premium tanks, etc. You don't have to spend a penny if you don't want to.

    World of Warplanes is the next game coming out (currently in closed beta). I'm actually an alpha tester for it and it's extremely hard to get selected for testing though I somehow got picked within a day (out of hundreds of people I know who applied I'm the only one who's made it over the past several months).

    World of Battleships is also in development although a test client hasn't been released yet.
