The only fun thing about that game is wiping your group and trolling the fuck outta trade, if you think otherwise, your a real faggot.
Raiding wasn't fun.... staying up late getting 4 hours of sleep for school, i was just gear-whoring so i can rub my e-peen in dickabutts face.
Im in the Cata beta, and so far levelling has just been rather lolsome. It's rather refreshing to punch a giant fucking dragon in the face. Or remember that your bike can fly and then see a dwarf fly out of no-where and punch him in the face. But as with WotLK, I'm hoping they don't fall into the same trap as last time. While I'm at it, New Northrend artwork:
My only concern is that each expansion ends with you killing a powerful being. How long until you have to destroy a corrupt planet? Or the Titans? Or God? Or Yourself?
I think they're sort of trying to get most of the WC2/3 Era bosses out of the way so they can have a relatively clean slate for WC4. Arthas was going to die eventually, and his story line was coming to a close anyhow (See WC3 / WC3FT). There's still the Emerald Nightmare, Norzdomu (Bronze / Infinite dragonflight storyline) and a couple more. It's more or less just getting the ball rolling I guess.
Cataclysm, interesting name, don't think I've ever hea- oh wait.. what was it? Guild Wars? Cataclysm befell Ascalon.. the Searing.. oh yes, I remember now. Cataclysm in Guild Wars that did exactly the same thing they're doing in this.
I thought Cataclysm would bring me back to WoW, but instead Guild Wars 2 is where I'm going. I've been playing the first one since Beta, and following the 2nd one since the first announcement. I may try out Cataclysm on a friends computer or w/e. Just lost interest in the game after BC, I just want Warcraft 4 to go back to being an RTS.
I don't think I ever will understand the attraction to WoW. I tried it once, it was pretty bad. On the other hand, I do like playing Warcraft with friends.
Because WoW although it's not the best overall, it's probably the best MMO out there. Aion would be pretty close however the areas are too small, instanced and it's bit of a grindfest (Albeit they have been trying to cater for Western players). I'm in the Cata beta, so if you want to ask any questions, Go ahead (Few screenies for you all)
