I tried full AD, hybrid and AP

Don't bother with AD, hybrid is good if you actually want to do shit, AP is for support + nuking

Hybrid build is Doran's Ring + Merc Threads + Rageblade + Sheen + Lich Bane + Zhonya's

Get rid of dorrans ring when you can upgrade, its good to keep just for the additional stats but late game its practically useless.

 

I sell it when it takes up space.

 

I usually don't take dorran's gear cause it can't upgrade into anything, although some champs use them to lane longer.

 

I usually get a doran's shield + potion to lane with till round level 6, but i keep it till it is taking up space, the 100 health is useful.

 

Some champ's can benefit from doran's gear early game. For example, Nasus needs to last hit to stack his Siphoning Strike. Having a Doran's shield helps him take more harassment so he can get those last hits in.
