    Okay, so this is a poll thread so we can stop derailing the Minecraft Design thread

    The Question:
    Should hacks be allowed on [BB]'s Minecraft server?


    [NOTE:] This thread may not effect anything at all in the long run and is in the sole control of the owner and operator of the server, this is simply a thread to tally opinions. This poll continues till Teddi, or a like forum moderator closes it and a conclusion is reached.

    As an OP I vote no because its so easy to grief and just leave without anyone noticing.

    I voted yes, it is an invaluable tool to help with the game...I mean it's not like this is multiplayer survival (which isn't out yet). It's just creative mode.

    If you start banning people for hacks, people will just enter with their hacks when no-one is on.. Also it's an invaluable tool for building really high things.

    It's a great tool for builders, but also a great tool for griefers.

    Perhaps make it so trusted people could use it? That way it stops griefers and also allows those creative people to use them? I'm not quite sure how the serverside of Minecraft works and I don't play it too often, so I'm not sure.

    They ought to be allowed because they realy are purtey damn usefull for when you either need to get around quicker or build larger things.
    Oh and it's easy enough to grief even if you don't fly, someone's bound to grief the shit out of things anyways even if they have to walk to do it. :S

    They're not allowed for the reason of that whilst they are handy for building, they're simply even better tools for griefing, and those with hacks can't really be stopped other than a kick/ban. We cannot restrict hacks because it's a clientside thing, ie we have no control over what is used by you on that server.

    End of the day, answer is no.
