Okay, if I'm gonna get a new Headset, can anyone reccommend one to me?

I don't care if its USB or not, just that its good quality and relatively cheap.

    Thanks.

Edit: My old one broke, it was to flipping flimsy that I pulled out the USB Cable and it came out of the case and the USB part was still left inside the PC -.- I tried soldering it back together to only find that the Speakers worked, yet the Mic didn't.
Oh wait, the Speakers just stopped working -.-

I have a USB logitech headset

cheap wires can break sometimes, infact I have had 3 or 4 of em, always broke in same place. Then my Dad finally just soldered em a lil and they never broke again

It is like the official PS2 headset.

    but they may be disconntinued.....

Anyways, buy a USB headset, line in headsets give you problems on vent(at least for me).

Pity you're not in the UK, I just got this awesome creative fatal1ty headset in the mail today. Comfy, sleek (non usb) and are pretty much mindblowing for sound. See if you can get a cheap pair nearby.

Edit: It says it doesnt come with a mic mute switch on the site, but it does.

    Oh, well.

Best thing I've ever worn on my head, clear sound quality, Makes it pretty much ownage for L4D, for direction etc.

And the bass you get on it.. o.o

OK, OK You Win Jeez :/

I Recommend Razer Headsets Because they Are Extremely High Quality And Are Very Comfortable on the Head. Its USB and Line/Mic In. It comes with three cords the USB one, the audio one, and the Mic one. Gives you the option to choose. I plug em all in and i get VERY HIGH QUALITY SOUNDS

I have a budget of £100 but I'm looking for a headset thats under £35. The headset Teddi suggested looks good and the reviews I've read about it look good. I'll take a look at some Razer ones in the morning.

I have to admit ASDA do some incredible mics for cheap. I havent checked out their headsets though, but it might be worth a look
