I'm gonna keep this short because I can't stop playing it. In the past 2 hours it's been like living a nightmare, this game is scary for a number of reasons. Get the game, it beats the pants off FarCry2 imo.
It was good i beat it already... It wasnt the scariest game ever... It was more of a you can win becuase your a badass space repair man... Its not that scary, thats why it got rated a 9 instead of a 10.... The comics are really good... they tell you ever thing right up to where the game starts...
Still playen it, friggen awsome game, oddly enough though i dont find it that scary, i find it errie, a bit spooky, the necromorphs look cool. One of the few times i have been scared in it, is when one of the black fresh necros come just booken outa nowere, through a vent shaft or somthing.
Picking this game a few days before halloween... as well as Silent Hill Homecoming, then going to a friends to scare ourselves all night playing em.
It looks like a good game, but never got round to pick up a copy. I've got Far Cry 2 to please me now anyway :3
Ya the comics are good, there is also a movie called "Dead Space: Downfall" which I have yet to check out.

Game is the post of the infect on the colony and the ship. The Comics is the events of the colony, and the discovery of the Marker, and what happens after that. The Animated movie comes out this week on the 28, and is the post of the colony and the events on the Ship till the arrival of maintenance crew at the beginning of the game. All different characters for all of them. So far they are pretty intense and violent. Good story and back story. Good voice acting.
