Played it, realised the game was bad when I'd have to sit through a 5 hour tutorial to just understand the basics. Got bored and flew off, then some huge ship blew me up. Exited the trial shortly after.
Eve online = Shit, retarded, I can quite happily go on, however having an mmo without an actual avatar apart from a ship is retarded. Sure, they're making space stations, but like 3 years too late.
EVE is good for people with little time, since you literally grind doing nothing. Needs more content tho, but it's awesomely deep.
I love it tbh, time filling, great graphics, cool features. But then again, I can see why some would dislike it, I love the whole Sci-Fi thing, so being my own spaceship captain made my day. But WoW suits others better.
I stopped playing SWG around a year or two ago, i joined a month or so after the NGE, damn tutorial made the game seem so much better than it was. The same damn thing with Age of Conan! Great tutorial, total voiced chars, great detail, great story to boot with the island, but then your ploped into a world with text boxes, stock characters and storys, from what they advertised i was expecting voices for alot of the NPCs, even some of the main quests in the game didnt even have voices! I just hated the crafting part of the game, HEY! grind to level 50 and THEN! we'll let you make a shitty peice of armor, they killed off alot of the pure crafters with that move
Played SWG pre-CU2, played in total 9 months of NGE quitting about 5 times. Waiting for Old Republic MMO, but it looks like giant jedi-fest.
True but I just fear it will be like Matrix Online, everyone thinks they're fuckin' the next Darth Vader.
I was playing Matrix online not to long ago, I think I saw like 2 other people over the course of 3 days =/ Lol.
I'm not generally a pay-to-play fan cause A) There's always 9,000 fat fucks sitting in their mother's basement while playing...B) They are boring and produce about 1/20th of the content they should be producing based on the overall profit.
