DVD Encoding is a strenuous process that uses lots of system resources. I'm not surprised at all. ;)

Probably because you do not have a dual core processor. Of course, if you got a dual core processor but not a DVD encoder that used both cores, encoding would go even slower. But on the bright side, you could play GM while it's running XD

Righto, good thing I bolded the "Probably."

The slowness is probably caused the compression and/or encoding happening inefficiently. Check your settings. As for GM crashing, possibly DVD encoder interfering with GM...

Lol Don't do that! Leave all of your processors to just encoding then restart.

Don't listen to him! The obvious way to fix this error is a new idea, whole disk encryption! What you do is this:
    -Download trucrypt
    -Make truecrypt volume
-when a password is requested, pick up cat and place on keyboard
-for added password security, scratch cat's head and/or rub its belly
-Copy all your valuables files to your new truecrypt volume. Make sure to include your windows folder!
    -Restart computer

    -or-
Open your hdd, take out the platters one at a time, and get your dog to fetch them atleast 3 times each.

    It should be fixed now.

Wouldn't the CD break before it scratched the face of the HDD platter?

I did, I also got banned, happy? I'll try not to suggest the removal of system32 folders any longer, either.
