How do you suggest I get someone to stop smoking?

Exactly all of their friends smoke which they told me themselves that they "Social Smoke".
Pink if you had things to do do you think that you could go without smoking? I think that's the problem my town is just boring.

 

Tell them that they'll die at 45.

 

If they are a father or mother, tell them their children will die.

That is what made my Mum and Dad stop smoking.

Tell her that if she is going to have your babies you don't want a smoke addicted one and that she should stop.

Can't just make her "stop" really... It's harder doing than saying. You could just show her what happens after long-term smoking, and what happens to the people that also breathe in her damn 2nd hand smoke.

I got her to "say" that she will quit smoking. I have to keep her getting off, her life is boring you see but I lost my license so I need to find things to do that are around local locally, like I have a longboard and thats it.

 

I don't want to scare her into it. Who hasn't seen a "Don't smoke" commercial with the persons skin all tarred up. But yes I am going to try a softer version of this.

A quit smoking about 8 months ago. I started, cuz it was the "cool" thing in town, i grew up in a really small town. Anyway, i quit cuz i started my own buisness, and i thought, if i smoked, then i would alway smell like smoke, and would have to go outside all the time to light one up.
I stopped cold turkey, with a little help from patches and those cig's with no nicotine in them. I took about a month, til' i stopped craving them. Buy her some of those, and have sex with her a lot, cuz that feels good.

 

I do smoke from time 2 time I have tried patches and everything they just don't seem to work for whatever reason. However I have been smoking fewer and fewer days but idk I will stop when I found something else to take my time. The most common thing for me to do now is every time I go to grab a smoke I go for gum now.

 

You can't. I've tried to get my friend to stop but the only advice I can offer you is to get them to like something more addicting like sex or alcohol.

 

So get her addicted to something else?
What gum has the most powerful taste to distract?
