Okay, LawGiver, I can understand what you're saying about McCain's actions as a POW. However, what about McCain's temper? Do you want someone with a temper to represent the United States? Also, I have nothing but respect for the members of our military. They put their lives for our us, and we owe them our gratitude. My grandfather fought in the Korean War, and he earned a Purple Heart when he was shot while rescuing another soldier. My other grandfather was in the air force.
Thats why I underlined most. Go on youtube, look at all the shit our troops are doing there...Offering gernades to children, throwing flash gernades at sheep, throwing puppies off cliffs... You only need a highschool education to join the military btw. Both my cousins joined the military, one is now a high rank and the other [Who was more my brother than a cousin] is was killed in Iraq.
Why not the man was being handled by a woman at a Casino in Puerto Rico, I've been to casinos and people that work there are incredibly pushy and annoying. The military are trying to remain happy, they do what they can; over half oif the decisions aren't smart but you'd be throwing puppies off a cliff too if you were in a country for years and after all those years of treatment given to you from the fires and the shots being shot at you year after year, you'd be freaking throwing a full grown animal over a cliff to raise your spirit. Don't you dare disrespect the military ever again, they are fighting for your right to have free speech, and what are you doing to help them?: Your electing someone who has said, "The war is lost, we cannot win this. We are going to draw back" and bring them back after all they've been through without honor and victory. Once they come back, do you think Obama would even be there to welcome the brave men and women who fought for your country back as they get of that plane? Obama wouldn't even go to a US medical Hospital to visit our military units that have sustained SERIOUS injury and are dying due to injuries because there were no cameras and news reporters allowed there! He didn't want to do anything good without the news behind his back recording that. He denied the invitation and blamed it on, "scheduling" which he spent the next days on a tour onto his way back to America. How messed up is that?! At least Mcain tried his best in the uniform and did his best to stand the torture! How would you like it if you were stuck in some prison camp tortured twenty four seven? When did Obama say that? Obama's never said that the war is lost; he's saying that we've been in the wrong war. We should be killing the actual AL-Quaeda members in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and not just killing insurgents in Iraq. The war in Iraq has only strengthened anti-American sentiments, and has given the terrorists more recruits. If I had been president of the United States, after the terrorist attacks on 9/11, I would've sent the CIA into the Middle East to hunt down Bin Laden covertly.
