Is it just me, or does minimization of Garry's Mod freeze it

Just you, I have this problem on another game, forgot which one.

 

In windowed mode, this never happens for me... Not sure about fullscreen mode

You mean when switching from fullscreen to window mode? I never had that problem.

 

I have the same problem, Sleepydragon. If I fully minimize Garry's Mod, it crashes.

 

Well, its good to hear that it's not just me

 

the only thing I get is a 7 minute re-maximization + Inventory screw up, then I will hear a sound "sploogle" sounds like running out of air underwater or something, Only crashed once or twice while doing it.

Just recently Ted booted me from the vent server so I could fix my binding for push to talk (it was "c") and it crashed my Garry's Mod :

 

I play in Window, if I minimize the game and re-open it it will stay black, non responsive for up to 60 seconds :/ Each time you do it the performace gets slightly worse untill eventually the text is unreadable and you need to restart the whole game. Blame Vista?

 

Yep. I can alt-tab out of windowed Gmod in XP just like any other program.

 

This also happens to me. Now I play in windowed mode. w00t

 

I play in full and when I press alt-tab to switch out it does take a few minutes to get out of it, it always happens for me.
