    [APPROVED] Light Yagami's Sub-Admin Application

    About myself: Hello, I've been playing BB roleplay since January and have fell in love with the server and it's user community. I'm a heavily experienced role-player and have played such role-playing games as:
    Dungeons and Dragons
    World Of Warcraft
    MUDS such as Achaea.
    Elder Scrolls (Which I do actually role-play in!)

    I also respect all admins decisions and the only punishment I've ever recieved was a mute (This I waited for a while before asking to be unmuted as I felt that the admin had a valid reason and didn't want to exacerbate the situation)

    Im 14 years old and im from Scotland and my friends all agree that I am mature for my age and while I can be quite "Light" Hearted i can also be serious when the situation calls for it.

    How I would use my Sub powers in these situations:

    S1: Someone complains about another player prop blocking.
    A1: I go to the complaining player and see what the problem is, if his complaint is valid then I will bring it up with another Full who can delete the offending player's props.

    S2: A player is dming and can't be stopped.
    A2: In short I will kick the player as he is violating server rules and ruining peoples role-playing experience.

    S3:The Mayor has locked himself inside an impenetrable fortress and is demoting people and causing havoc on the server.
    A3: Depending on how bad he's been:
    If he's demoted 1 person then i'll !goto him and kill him, I see this as fair because it teaches him a lessons in how he can't outsmart the admins and will be caught eventually, it may also set him on a happier path than a simple kick would.

    On the other hand if the Mayor has dmeoted many people from their positions (Unfairly of course) then I would kick him as he obviously knows what he's doing and can't feign newbie-ness or ignorance to get out of his punishment.


    Past Experience: The only experience I've really had is modding a small forum for a period of time. (http://www.urbandead.proboards52.com)

    Main Server: The BB role-play server in which I know many of the players well and have helped new players get started, I have also introduced friends to the server who will soon be joining us.

    ULX: I understand how ULX commands work and what commands are available to me as Sub-Admin !goto, !bring, !kick (I am assuming !bring as !goto is available)

    Reason: Good RPer (I have spent alot of time on Vent and the server with this guy)
    Reason: Well Known and popular in the ranks (In my Opinion)
    Reason: I think this app was Unique and Light Yamami can provide alot for the server.
    Reason: Im l33t and dont need more than three reasons.

    You shouldn't need to rely on a Full to resolve a problem, goto'ing the complaining player, and bringing the offender would be more efficient. If they refused to remove their prop I'd understand.

    Depends, 10 kills in 3 minutes? Or 10 kills over 50 minutes.

    No, simply. You never goto someone and kill them, that just asks for a ban request. I've never experienced this scenario, yet I feel it's better to RP and kill him. His fort won't be impenetrable, hire a keypad hacker.

    What were you muted for? Still thinking about this..I guess it varies from Admin to Admin.

    I was muted back in the days when I first started, I can't remember clearly but I was probably being a total noob and annoying everyone in general.

    To your Situation 1 reply: Thats what I had in mind, if the player is generally prop blocking but is genuinely ignorant then a kick would be unfair so if I saw that it was prop blocking I would talk to a Full if they do not comply with my requests to delete their props, I would probably tell them about F1 as well so that they don't break other rules.

    S2 reply: I define dming by having a large number of kills in a small amount of time, so yes I would agree with 10 kills and 3 minutes as dming but I would also take into account whether the kills were role-played or not.

    S3 reply: By impenetrable I meant prop blocking, from my experience these types of players don't listen to admins until the last minute and then jump out with a ban request.

    A situation that I was in once was when the Mayor had locked himself in the flats prop blocking and there was no way to get to him, if I had sub-admin I could have easily killed him which would have ended his reign of terror.

    Well if the mayor was prop blocking himself in should have just kicked him straight off rather than kill him etc.

    Not reffing, nothing personal. Just putting in a good word. Yagami would unlike most admins so far probably do something with it, besides just sit around doing fuck all. And that's a big compliment. So good luck kiddo, hope you last long but not long enough.

    Hmm i played with Light alot before quitting [BB] (oh i forgot to say :p)
    Think e'd be a great sub admin.. Wouldnt abuse and would try and keep people under control.

    Great in my opinion.
