So as the name suggests and my well-known ability to stay on the general topic (<----A Joke), I have a question about Crysis. But heres something else more important to ponder over: At TigerDirect.com, the BFG GeForce 9800 GTX+ at 512mb GDDR3 costs $124.00 (On Sale till 11/30/09) --------->Then<--------- At TigerDirect.com, the PNY GeForce GTS 250 at 1024mb GDDR3 costs $149.99 (On Sale till 11/30/09) See for your selves: BFG GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB GDDR3 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3738445 PNY GeForce GTS 250 1024MB GDDR3 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4924964&CatId=3669 If you check the specs the 250 is better all around really, so my question to you is.. Am I going to owe the Don a service after I purchase this ridiculously under-priced blackmarket item?
Yeah I've read a lot of reviews before saying that exactly Teddi. But what about the graphics memory difference and the clocking? And its only 20 dollars. Plus, the next upgrade after that is a hundred more so I'd take this any day.
Yes it can. Got my XFX 780i Motherboard, 8GB of DDR2 RAM, an Intel Core2 Quad Q8200 processor (2.33GHZ), a 650watt power supply (plus two spare ones I might plug in for funsies) and rape ton of fans. ---------- Post added at 08:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:11 PM ---------- The card only requires a 450watt so I think I'm safe. But I'll be upgrading to a 1000watt soon enough (thxu Tiger.Direct for your $100 power supply)
I'll chech the prices on the 260 again, but the last site I checked (which there were like 7) aslike the others said it was in the $220 zone. ---------- Post added at 10:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:39 PM ---------- Yeah...
I'm currently swimming (by force) in the red pool aswell. (ATI FireGL V7350) ---------- Post added at 12:21 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:20 AM ---------- I'm an nVidia user by choice.
