Hey did you know that if you torrent an ISO (I'm fairly certain Microsoft offers a digital download but torrents may be faster) you can buy a key online at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/buy/default.aspx and it'll be perfectly legal?! Wow! Just use Imgburn to burn it to a dvd, even you can understand that.

Important: Put write speed to 2x

If it's slow, go either install Windows 7 like you want or reinstall the OS with the disks that came with the computer. Also, "gay" isn't really something you'd use there.

I've looked a billion places and views are split, doubt anyone will no for sure but can't hurt asking,

The memory limit for windows 7 64bit home premium is 16gb, is this RAM + vRAM or jsut RAM.

Most places seems to think it's just RAM but there's contrasting views.

    Halp?

Not to mention 8GB is a fucking waste in a laptop.

Clearly, but i've already stated this. No game is going to use 8gs, high end games on max are ~4

Just RAM, and 4gb is enough for most people. The only reason I bought 8GB recently for my new mobo is because it was cheap and bloody excellent ( www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004CRSM4I/ if you're wondering) and as of late I've started compiling more, rendering movies so it's become sort of a requirement for me.

You understand you'll get no performance boost out of that right? These days CPUs / Graphics cards / RAM are at the top end of their game for with the materials they have that they're as fast as can be pretty much. The only notable improvement you'll see is via a SSD and once you have that, that's roughly it until they develop some new architectures or start using GPU style processers (like the Sandybridge processer).
