Yeah, though I'm sure there's something illegal about lying to the country (the chemical weapons excuse that the Bush administration used to take the U.S. into war with Iraq.)
Although I do find the reason stupid, it wasn't made up. We gave Saddam chemical weapons when he was at war with Iran and he was to destroy them. Apparently they never found any, but they associated the terrorists that followed them into Iraq with Saddam, and decided to have him killed as well.
Wasn't it Weapons of Mass Destruction that not-gonna-be-prez-much-longer Bush rolled into Iraq on? That sort of implies nuclear.
