Well, as some of you know, I got a new 32 GB iPod Touch (Happy? No iTouch). Well, it's good, except for the fact when I try jailbreaking, it keeps crashing. Let me give you a "brief" explanation of what has happened so far. First, I jailbroke it, downloaded installous, and everything was great... Until I downloaded Winterboard through Cydia. It crashed. I had to reset iPod. Then, after resetting, I jailbreak, install Cydia, and install Installous. Installous crashed iPod, I reset. Lastly, I jailbreak my iPod and install Cydia. Now Cydiai is crashing my iTouch. What the heck do I do? (Besides not DLing Cydia)
Let me edit the top to, "What the heck do I do? (Besides not DLing Cydia)" EDIT: Oh, and it might not be Cydia, but the source "cydia.hackulo.us" that's causing the crashing now. ---------- Post added at 06:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:07 PM ---------- OH ITS TETHERED!!! D:::
Yeah, Jailbreaking since the last iphone update requires the phone to be tethered, until someone finds a workaround.
Okay thank you Teddi. I suppose I shall have to BUY my SING LIKE T-PAIN with my iTunes account money. Sigh!! D:
All you have to do when it's tethered is ensure it's connected to the pc when you turn it on. After that, you can disconnect it.
Is anybody coming up with a fix? (Funny how we're only posters in here, you must care about me huh! )
When I upgraded to 3 I just dled whatever colour of sn0w was the latest at the moment and followed the instructions, worked fine. Maybe restore your ipod with iTunes before trying?
You know... the little programmy thingies that do your little ten second jailbreak for you? Yeah, well some of us don't trust freeware...
