Ok i duno if this is the right place to put it in, but idc. I need help of them smart peoples.

Hmm.. ill try and explain this as best as i can. When i start up my PC i get the black screen with grayish writing on and all that technical writing that says its loading. Once thats done, however, instead of continuing to load it comes up with a screen like this:

So i pick start normally, but it just goes back to the first loading screen, and comes up with them startup options again.. I've picked every option on that list about 5 times, yet whatever i do it always restarts ENTIRELY.

It just wont get to the login screen. Anyone help?

Id rather avoid buying a new PC.

Sounds like a job for an in-place reinstall.
In my experience, with WinXP you don't have to reinstall any apps, or anything :)

sounds to me there is something wrong with the boot records or the registry from a required service not running. I've had this issue (although it may be due to another issue) and the only thing I could do was reinstall Vista (or XP) on my PC. There is never a reason to buy a new PC if your computer won't start up.

Oh, and, try the recovery console with fixboot/fixmbr.
