Who the Rule would effect : Anyone in Jail and the Civil Protection. The Rule : When arrested, Citizens should not be shouting profanity, racism and OOC Abuse at the CPs. IC Abuse: "You're all goddamn corrupt! The resistance will kick you're asses!" OOC Abuse: "****ing abusers" "unarrest me mother****er" Why the Rule should be implemented : Because its OOC and can offend CPs. Any problems the Rule may create/Conflicts with other rules? : Not to my knowledge.
Re: Rule Submission - Jail. I don't think they should. Because if they are in jail, the only thing that is really happening is Cuffed and thrown into a cell. There is no batons anymore. I think that they should beable to use OOC aswell, But if they start crying about capture, they should be muted until their release. There people that will be in jail ARE Real players. People don't like sitting in a box. Combine arrest just for being in a street that was previously empty or full. Take all games into moderation.

Re: Rule Submission - Jail. People in prison should be allowed to yell what they like, a CP prison guard would just smack them with the stun baton. I think players should be muted when they're knocked out however.

Re: Rule Submission - Jail. You're in jail, they should be able to shout whatever they want. If a CP doesn't like it, knock him, and move him to farther cell. Maybe if they are muted when knocked out it would solve the problem. Why shouldn't they be able to yell profanity? Really, the way cops deal with it (Yes I know this is HL2RP) in real life, is to either ignore it, or talk to them to get them to stop yelling it. If a fight arises that's when they would use force (As these are CP, they would probably ignore it at first, but then go beat the shit out of them with a baton after the first... two words). If the profanity is to much for you, mute them, and unmute them when the sentence is fulfilled. EDIT: The rules for OOC are already in place, anything that leads to/is profanity can get them (kicked, mute, whatever the admin feels) so that shouldn't be a problem if they are doing it in OOC. In Character it's fine as long as it's not mindless random crap.

Re: Rule Submission - Jail. Remember when people kept using /me in jail (When it was global) to go "OMG I'm arrested" "Help abusing cops!! BAN!!!!!!" etc, however perhaps should be able to use [[ (Local OOC).

The thing that prevents this from occurring at TnB is PKing. If someone insults a CP, they can expect either a thorough beating and 6 cycles (nearly an hour) in prison, or a PI (perma-injury) or a PK (perma-kill).
I actually love it when an AC screams profanity at me... I tell them to remain quiet and if they continue I beat them repeatedly, and I'll even call 3 or 4 more CPs to aide in the beating. I can see where Gene is coming from and I cant see Citizens screaming Racial Slurs at CPs. As for good old fashioned F-bombs and mofos, I love it, it makes the beating that much sweeter
