If it gives you teh location of the virus in steam folder then go in the steam folder right click delete it and continue life you dirty torrenter. I called you a "Dirty Torrenter" because it said Worm.P2P.Generic. Moral of today's story, "Kids don't Illegally download Steam Games".
Yesh, and only stupid dumbfucks try to load those games in legal steam applications/accounts. You can still put a worm into a .exe on your own website smartypants.
Either you got a game illegally, you downloaded another game illegally, or the porn you looked at is entirely coincidental.
Oh John, You and Your Shenanigans. If you didn't Download a game Illegally, then report it. But if you "DID", Dont report it because Steam would be like "Well we fixed the Problem, say where'd you get those games anyways?". </Insert Face into Palm>
Like i said, it may be a coincidental name. There's a new virus going around saying "Watch me, you're in this video!". So beware of that.
o_0 what the virus do. someone messaged me that once and i was liek "Lolwut" and a virus was found but mashed it into pieces before i could Study it more. So what does it do is my question.
Basically, it gives you a youtube (or similar other video thing) saying click me to watch! However it asks you to install the software to watch it first. So yeah. Thats the catch.
oh lawd i got adware but found the process and the location of all the files associated with and was like "BAN BANG BANG" because my avg was liek "Nop iz not VAYERUS"
Another one of my fun facts: If you get firefox and the addon Noscript, you can allow / disallow what scripts can run on the page. So you can stop any pop-ups, stop those interactive flash popup things. Sure, it requires a little base config (ie, about 5 minutes to get youtube etc unblocked) but in my opinion, it's better than adblock. alongside it, i do regular scans, and since i've had noscrpt, i've had no spyware or adware -at all-
Kaspersky is good, you have to rightclick the desktray icon, click settings, firewall, then Trusted Applications then delete the rule saying it's blocked I think. It's abit confusing but the security is good xD.
This happened to me before but I think it happened to me like one of the first days it came out. I went to yahoo answers to see something and someone posted a link to a video and it wanted me to download something to watch it then ever 5 seconds a virus thing would come up telling me to buy the full version and that it found virus and crap on my computer. Turns out it auto installed a program in add/remove programs and added some registry shit. I uninstaller it but everything was still happening to took me a while but I found the bad registry stuff. Trust me if this is the same virus and your not protected this one is not fun :/
