Funny this thread was made because this morning as I just got finished chopping the head off of my enemy with my Bow shaped "Strom's Sword" on Age Of Conan (Something you cant do on WoW) I was reading the OOC in game and the local village idiots were discussing how they left WoW to play Age of Conan. And After my next kill which was a level 17 Barbarian who tryed to run but I slowed down his movements with "Pin Down" and then ran in and stabbed him threw the chest kicking his body off my sword, It came to me finally like a angel who whispers naughty things in your ear at night.

Why would anyone play World Of Warcraft? If I really wanted to play a game with a large community and shitty looking graphics i'd play Runescape for free.

So before any of you losers get back on to WoW and give all your gold to a woman elf in a bra... Think about this. AGE OF CONAN HAS BOOBS AND HUMANS.

What are the mage class(es) like on AoC? xD

 

Everyone plays what they think they like.

Some who played WoW for 2-3 years won't drop it for a new game unless they are forced to.

15$x24 + Hours spent a day x 365(7) = Way to much to toss away.
Not to mention the fact that min wage is/was 7.50$ USD. Work 2 hours, play a month of WoW. But some of the jobs are pure frustration.

Mage classes are fun on AoC, I played the beta for them, Whilst they can be aggrivatingly weak, they are epicly strong. ;P

 

i seen people break dance in runescape for money...

I played wow for like 2 weeks, really never got into it.. so i never bot another month./.

 

like River Rat said, people have their own opinion on games, many of us enjoy WoW, and just the same for every other MMO. I haven't tried AoC yet, so I refuse to pass judgment on how it is.

I've been playing WoW since it was released, sure haven't been subscribed all that time, every summer vacation I cancel it so I wont be tempted.

 

I've played WoW for 2-3 years and I got off willingy...anyways I played on Khaz'goroth as my Human Warlock (Rainhorror) and as my Human Priest (Zeithius) both level 70's. I had more alts but I don't feel like listing them.

 

I might play the trial and if i like it play some private servers. Not payen the damn retail price and subscription, no matter how small

Give me a free download or disc purchase any day.

 

I've player both AoC and WoW and honestly I don't play either anymore because WoW got extremely boring once I hit 70, and AoC I just didn't like because I started with a Tempest of Set. And of course like 2 days to a week after I made it they were nerfed and nerfed bad. So one day I'm owning and then the next it's really freaking annoying...

So honestly I don't play either anymore, I may play WoW again when WoTLK comes out but it's only possible.

 

That was the problem with me too, it got too boring after 70 it became more work than play.
