As some of you might know, South Park will start airing new episodes starting Wednesday. Quick question: does texting southpark to 44686 cost money? It is supposed to alert for new episodes, wasn't sure if it would cost though. (Also, mobile website doesn't allow choosing post icons. Had to go to full version.)
No idea, although I never found southpark particularly funny, much like family guy - although it was much more in-depth than FG.
Texting anywhere will usually cost the typical network rate + whatever fees the service charges. Yeah, I know you can't post a post icon on the full version, I'm working on that at the moment. As for Family Guy being like South Park, I would disagree quite heavily. On the surface South Park looks like some dumb animation where it's highly immature and just dicks about but most episodes have an underlying morale story which is for most of the time fairly accurate and pretty right. Plenty of what has been said against them is because people don't understand and don't see where the logic and reasoning comes from. They just see Kenny dying over and over. Whereas with Family Guy / The Cleveland Show (not so much American Dad) it's mostly Seth McFarlaines political views and he doesn't even try subtly to push them on to the viewer. It's not as strong in The Cleveland Show (and in American Dad he's a clear conservative so that doesn't work anyhow for him) but it still exists to a lesser degree. Perfect example of how Family Guy has evolved -
Nah they ain't similar, just don't find either overly funny - although I much prefer south park to family guy. lol
Well South Park makes fun of current media and they are damn good at it. Family Guy's humor is based off of every other comedy shows humor, which makes it bland.
I actually enjoyed Family Guy a lot when it was good, and just the other day went back and tried to watch an episode of season 9 (?) and it was simply terrible. I 100% agree with that image.
Impossible we must all be extremely prejudiced against one show and be complete fanboys of the other!
