Steam Beta - Swap hats for games!

    Steam have released a beta version of their Steam Client which has quite a few neat things in it.

    You can now-

    • Trade hats for games
    • Buy something from the store and reserve it for later, either for trade or to gift
    • Advanced chat options
      • You can now link TF2 items in chat
      • You can initiate trades in chat
      • You can now group friends by category


    Have a screenie of the new categorize system-

    So thoughts? Apart from the obvious attempts to regulate hat trading.

    Well if you look to the right at the size of the bar, it should give you an idea where you are at the moment :v:

    Because they'd notice you'd removed them and then they would re add you and then QQ to you in-game after they hunt you down.

    This pretty much. 90% of the time the thing I hear from people if I come across them in games is "OMG WHY U REMOV ME".

    Yep, that or sometimes they have something useful for you and that's the only reason you bother with them.

    Just offer up whatever you want. I would prefer to get a game I don't have, but games that I already have might also be acceptable as well. Also, I won't take TF2 items unless it's a really good offer.
