Just some corrections and nerfs. For getting halfway you now get a quarter of all possible points on the map, instead of half. Removed dependancy on Cvar 2 (sv_airaccel was freed as of this update) You can only get cubes once per map from completion. You can only get cubes one per map from half completion. People who have completed the map should be able to kill each other now. Surf_Boring has been added. The total amount of cubes you can earn from this map is 10000. Surf_Canisius has been added. The total amount of cubes you can earn from this map is 8750. Surf_Sandman_v2 has been added. The total amount of cubes you can earn from this map is 15000. Surf_Olympics has been added. The total amount of cubes you can earn from this map is 13750. Surf_Syria has been added. The total amount of cubes you can earn from this map is 6250. Total amount of cubes on surf_ny_platinum has been lowered to 11250 (Down from 17500) The exploit which allowed a player to jump the end of surf_ny_platinum has been patched. Total amount of cubes on surf_ny_advance has been lowered to 12500 (Down from 18750) Total amount of cubes on surf_vegetables has been lowered to 12500 (Down from 18750) Total amount of cubes on surf_fruits has been lowered to 11250 (Down from 15000 (or something like that) The halfway point on surf_fruits has been corrected, it is now at the end of strawberry (moved from end of lemon)
Looks like a good update, but... May I ask why you get a quarter instead of a half for doing half the map?
People earned far too many cubes for what really could be considered really easy stages. Usually the stages don't get that much harder until one or two after the halfway point, with the exception being on surf_vegetables where it gets harder at pumpkin. People were earning cubes far too fast (albeit they would just rejoin which they can't do now), eg Bundt now has every single hat in the store because cubes were so high.
To be honest, if you get better at surfing, earning cubes still won't be a problem. All I've done really is fix the amount you earn, and the rate you can earn them at. Like Deathrun, if you're good you can earn them fairly fast (see: Good runner / Be death), In surf, it just takes (now) roughly the same amount of time, if not less to earn the same amount of cubes. And if you can complete the map, then you're getting a huge amount of cubes for even less time.
