Valve Announces "Alien Swarm"

Nice, at least if it sucks like Portal then it's free. Of course it probably won't, it looks really good.

 

Yeah, it does look really good/fun.

The original mod for UT 2k4 was fun as hell, then Valve hired Blackcat Games into their studio and they've been working on this very quietly for apparently 2 years.

I played the mod on UT2k4 when I was younger. And loathed it.

But hopefully, this will be an improvement on that so I'll give it a shot

It's actually quite fun. It lives up to it's UT04 predecessor perfectly.

 

Love the game and I especially like the teamwork that is needed to get through a level alive. :3

Working on the first map of an I don't know how long campaign, made good progress between yesterday and today. Never used Hammer before, but I'm learning pretty quickly I'd like to think.

 

Ok yeah, this game is a lot better than I remember the UT2k4 mod being.
