Well, I got a good idea at what I want but i know there are people out in this community who have experience in buying and know which things are more valuable than other things. I got a $25 Mastercard giftcard which can be used to donate to BB or be used for buying STEAM games. My choices are simple: A) Buy the full version of L4D. B) Buy HL2 Episode 2 and donate the rest of the $10 to getting 20 extra props (no advanced though). C) Go $5 advanced and $10 for 20 extra props on BB. The other $10 are for meh private purposes. D) Go full out $20 for the 40 prop perk and $5 for advanced. I've got this card dedicated to these things before I bought it. So no "Go get a life". I've got a $50 card for that too. I kept them separate to aid in reducing temptation. Advice appreciated. I, however, am making the final decision though. I just am asking for your advice to ensure I get the good stuff first.
Personally, I would say donate to us to keep us alive, however the choice is yours. This weekend, L4D is about $24 which is good, although it'll be reduced in price again, and thus you can buy it another time. Ep2 is the best out of the episodes, and it gives you some lovely props in Gmod, so it's like two games in one. Advanced will be crucial in the new RP09, which is handy, as is the extra props. It's up to you, L4D is fun, but it's only fun with 4 dedicated friends.
Exactly. I was thinking that it'll be a matter of months before L4D would be just another 15 or 10. Besides, I'm using the demo and it's only fun with friends as you said. Strangers can't be trusted, got screwed over by a guy playing Francis just because I was picked to be zoey... thought it would be funny, eh. He got raped by the witch so it's cool. If I do happen to choose to focus on BB, then I'll onl donate when the new RP09 comes out to be honest (or when the end of the month is just too close or you) because I would prefer to spend my advanced time on a good gamemode. EP2, I've got on the Xbox360 since i have the Orange Box. So, if I do get EP2, it'll just be for that prop/model stuff. Seems like a waste of money if I can't really get anything out of it though.
I agree with Teddi (D), but then again, I want you to keep the server alive, so my "advice" is way biased. However, you should listen to yourself. Also: If you are planning on spending more money a few weeks in the future, then I would suggest L4D because of it's low price.
Ah, ive also noticed that even thuogh im not advanced, i can still make 20 props, and i have both prop perks, could be a bug, also, boil dont steal sigs, make your own you scab
Or, you could just shoot them out back with the 12 gauge... Or theres that you know, just puttin it out there.
