A few days ago, a good friend of mine showed my his 300 dollar airsoft gun, and I've been interested in airsoft ever since. So, what do you guys think of airsoft? ??? P.S.: Airsoft is a "sport" like paintball that involves the use of BB guns that fire 6mm plastic BBs at relatively low FPS.
Oh god..ive spent soo much money collecting so far i have a tokyomarui g17 with the night sights and metal slide from g&p. A kjw m700 with leapers 9x scope. A classic army m16 and a western arms m9 elite ia. Oh and i dont play at fields i just collect and shoot in my backyard or skirmish with my friends

Airsoft is so you can shoot at people and not kill them..airsoft wouldnt be so fun if people are constantly dieing.
Airsoft is entertaining to say the least, I mean me and my friends play redneck airsoft, Stand 10 feet away and shoot them where ever you want to. And to pick of random people with a Well L96 AWP is just so entertaining.
Wow, magoo, that's cool! I've been looking at G&P guns, but people say that their internals suck. And Gene, if you go to an airsoft filed in a combine suit, please take pictures ;D . And Grimm, ( I know, I'm cramming a lot into one post) I wouldn't say that airsoft is for pussies. The friend I mentioned in my first post showed my 1 inch scars across his back. He said he got them when a sniper with a gas-powered PSG-1 lit him up from 15 feet away. He later learned that the sniper was firing at 500 fps. Airsoft is an extreme hobby, folks. You take a risk each time you step on the field.
From my research, a few huge fields allow snipers to use 500 FPS rifles. However, their engagement distance must be over 20 feet. But, I think that you're right about most fields, magoo. But, I don't even have an airsoft gun I shouldn't be talking...
