Well DoD: Source is what i have and its pretty much just DoD on the source engine. So to compare its like cs 1.6 to css

 

So basically theres not much difference besides having the engine. :/

Any idea if Source DoD will allow me to use DoD props on Gmod?

 

Source engine props are not compatible with GoldSrc engine props, sorry.

 

Yup, pretty much every source run game on steam will add props to Gmod, sept for L4D, but its props can be added via a download.

DoD has lots of tanks, old 1940s furniture, good battlement emplacements and so on, pretty much everything you see while in game is a prop you can use.

 

DoD:S Will add props. Standard DoD won't. Also, I've heard the source version is much better, but I haven't played the original, so I wouldn't know.

 

DoD sucked, I had it, got my brother's account with the VALVe platinum pack on it, that was before Source

But that could just be because I'm not really into those WW2 fps games.

 

Too bad more people don't have DoD:S there are some good props in there. The only server I've ever been on where someone had DoD:S enabled was Tox's.

DoD:S I would say personally is better

But I have only ever played DOD Source

if you still have the gcf from the pre load you can get DOD:S content without buying it..

 

Same with the ship (can get it from dedicated server dl), although one time it did give me a problem with my q menu.
