World of Warcraft: Panda Edition

This game just got even gayer than it was

 

No idea, I'm sure they'll be less annoying than the Worgen though (werewolves).

The game can't get much worse than Cata, so we'll see what they do.

 

It's pretty much the case. I have a blizzcon virtual ticket and took these screenshots of when they were doing all the panda shit -

Pretty safe to say to be honest that I won't be getting MoP.

 

PCGamer said it was set on the back of a giant turtle, I believe. We should check for elephants ontop of it. Trip to Discworld anyone?

 

The Pandaren starting zone is set on top of a turtle. The rest of it is an island.

 

The Monk class doesn't look too bad, but the Pandaren look pretty stupid. Although, if they do it right, the asian architecture and style they're adding to Pandaren might be a nice addition.

 

Asian architecture can be pretty cool. But Pandas? Guess they fired all their creative consultants.

 

Stopped when Cata came out.
Won't be coming back anytime soon.
They just stopped caring after WotLK with Diablo 3 (which I will get because Bundt told me to, and I would never disobey him) coming along.

Leaked content of the new battlegrounds in MoP.

They're really being fucking lazy here because Azshara Crater has been in the game since fucking Vanilla Beta (to the point where I've explored it on our own private server). Instead of making it an attack / Defend like AV was (and AC was supposed to be), AC is now apparantly a DoTA style gamemode. The other one is Stranglethorn Vale Mines which is a payload like gamemode effectively involves you pushing minecarts down various tracks and trying to get them to the end.

Why would an undead even be able to be a monk, wouldn't their bones and shit break?
I just want up to Cataclysm so I can finally fly around outside of Outlands. :|

 

Because Blizzard have since even thrown the logic of their own lore out of the window.

 

Yup, makes about as much sense as Blood Elves, a race addicted to magic and who are obsessed with it, trying to become more attuned to the earth and become a monk

 

Or how Night Elves detest arcane magic, yet they're allowing mages back into their society with little hate!
Or how Gnomes can be priests (even though they only believe in machines)!

 

WoW loses another 800k subscribers. Boring, stale PvE content and laughably imbalanced PvP content sure are driving the players away.

Pokemon and pandas and dumbed down talent trees will bring the players back though!!

..

Also rumours of over a dozen higher up staff being laid off by Blizzard. Who knows if they're founded, seem to be based on the staff setting their facebook statuses from "Working at Blizzard" to "Worked at Blizzard". Wouldn't surprise me anyway.
