Depends on the host. Each host has a base mysql name with their own distinct way of letting you sign onto your mysql account. There should be some information in the confirmation email or on the main page of your Control Panel or something.

The site at the moment looks well, crossed between a personal site, and some site that's trying to be out there. Pick one or the other. Or make a subsite for your friends.
