It has been said that Combine Civil Housing isnt RP, well I beg to differ. Frankly the main reason people run around and DM is b/c there isnt any RP for them to participate in. CCH is one of the few things the Combine can provide to citizens, it is also fertile ground for RP. Earlier today the hotel was seized for this endeavor... Doors were purchased and citizens were asked kindly to leave. Certain parties felt that "clamping" the hotel constituted prop blocking but if the Combine doesnt seal off the area then no proper RP can occur. You cant make an omelet without breaking a few eggs. These pics of CCH RP are evidence, clearly we can see that it is a useful RP event.
Yeah, I like Civil Housing too, like yesterday, they built the hotel to be civil housing, and I got to run the cafe
I completely agree on this. The Combine owns ALL of the rooms in said hotel that is chosen, and rooms are given basically to anyone. So I don't see what the problem with it is. I've only participated it in actually once, because the other three times it was shut down, BUT it is great RP and a very enjoyable experience. EDIT: I just have to say that first picture is beautiful. Very cool looking. ;D
I for one am all for it. It is a great form of RP. How can you have HL2RP without a combine housing unit? All the units in HL2 were owned by the combine. I also for one, am sick of this so called HL2RP just consisting of DMing and drug labs. People just run around and kill anyone and everyone mainly CCP, which gets old fast. The most fun I have had in game was either as a civi in CCA Housing or as a CCP in CCA Housing.
Lol. But yeah Civil Housing would be really fun, you could also give out combine rations at the civil housing maybe?
If people didnt care so much about hideing there Druglabs this would work out.. The only thing about CCH is the combine have the right to Search your Apartment at all time.. Also We dont provide Props..
Combine don't have to provide props. Advanced can. Advanced can provide furniture shops with moving fees and stuff for a roleplay job.
