Dead Rising 2

I'm still debating whether or not to pre-order dead rising 2. It seems its just going to be an upgraded version of the first game. Need to finish playing Case Zero.

 

To me it feels like, if Dead Rising was brilliant. Dead Rising 1 was fun. But after playing case zero, I have high hopes for this game. Escort missions are no longer annoying, 3 save slots, co-op. Combo weapons look fuck awesome as well.

Just dont get it for PC or PS3. Capcom and PC ports never go well. While the PS3 version, like RDR will be full of bugs.

The co-op in this game looks like fucking great fun.

 

Case Zero was fucking amazing.

 

I just hate the fact of the game being 72 hours again. That's why I'm debating to buy it.

 

They've padded out time now. So unlike the first game where you never left the first plaza unless for a mission. And you forgot Overtime mode, where it removes the timer completely and instead focus's on survival.

Just as long as you get it on 360.

 

I'm getting it for 360 too, I had fun with the first one, Frank Westing the shit out of zombies gave me days of entertainment XD

 

If you enjoy paying 10$ a month for online play, go ahead and get it for the 360, I'm getting it for the PC

Mods will be fun, but Capcom ports deserve to die. I refer you to Resident Evil 4 (PC).

 

Resident Evil 4 for the PC wasn't bad at all. And I played the Wii version which is the best but the PC version wasn't bad. Capcom has fucked up on other ports though.

 

i'll be getting it for the 360, gotta reserve it too. beat the first one and then replayed it a few months ago, great, great game. but i didn't get case zero, should i?

 

I heard case zero was good and I've only played through the first four parts of it but what I've played so far has been enjoyable.



So question is...should I or should I not pre-order it? Was going to get it from amazon since they have a $10 credit if you pre-order from them and some free avatar shit.


The thing is, I loved Dead Rising 1, but I never felt like playing it a second time for some reason.

I think I would rather do steam to be honest, I can play with anyone on my friends list, which is larger than my xbox live friends list. Really I don't see any difference between getting it for Xbox or PC. My PC can run any game no problem, and I can still use the 360 controller.

 

Capcom ports never get patched. This game will be filled with bugs unless they release modding tools (which is a massive doubt).

The game is built for 360 and nothing less. However if you want to play with friends on steam, go for it. But at the cost of missing out on exclusive DLC (FRANK MOTHERFUCKING WEST) and patches.

 

Too late. Capcom isn't that bad, they do deliver patches to their games, just not all of them. And I know the DLC isn't going to be exciting enough for me to care enough to even play it, just because Frank West is going to be in it doesn't mean it's going to be good. Eventually they will probably release the DLC on PC anyways, that's what happens with most "Xbox exclusive" things. They end up on the PC.
