My main reason for getting it on the PC is not only because I prefer steam, but Microsoft raising the price of Xbox Live for no reason. Last time I had live, I bought three months and I never used a single days worth. Also it's $20 cheaper on steam.
Only it doesnt use steam servers. Its GFWL. Meaning your still going to put with the same shit Live does without the cost. Steam only acts as a provider, so you cant just right click on their name and click join. Your going to have to log into your Xbox Live account, find the gamertag of the person you want to play with, send them a friend request, send them an invite then finally join only to have GWFL down for maintenance.
i'm still getting it on the 360 for sure, far more reliable imo, because i don't know if it would lag or not on my comp, but it's one of those games that you play for a while, and i like to sit on the couch while doing that
I'll still be getting achievements on my Xbox then, that's good news. I prefer using GFWL. If it is cross-platform playing then I will be able to play with anyone on an Xbox and Steam.

Holy shit, that is the fucking best thing I have seen for a long time and has completely made my day. The Stephen Hawking voice is fuckin' A. Also, the convicts with the car were so bloody annoying, but nowhere near as annoying as the army guys whilst trying to get the true ending. I can't even get into the fucking mall because they gun me down before I can hit them or be able to shoot them.
Just a heads up, Dead Rising 2 has been leaked on the PC. I'm personally gonna wait until next Tuesday since I already own a copy but if anyone wants to play it now I can point you in the right direction.
It's not as painstaking and you're making it out to be. He's probably going to be playing with friends on steam, it's easy as logging in (can set to auto log-in), asking them for their gamertag, putting that gamertag into the friends area, and hit send request. To join a game, most if not all GFWL games have an easy way to access a list of people and quickly choose one or multiple people to invite. It's not that bad George.
I would think games get leaked by someone who was working on the project and was fired before it's release whilst that have a copy in their possession. I mean, this game was completed several months ago. As with many games, they are completed months before the release in order to make enough copies and properly advertise, etc.
